I also bring backups wherever possible. - Getting-ready coverage: I arrive early enough to be completely set up before filming begins, capturing natural moments, details, preparation, interactions with family and wedding party, and the overall atmosphere. - Ceremony preparation: Before the ceremony starts, I position my cameras and audio equipment, check the lighting and sound, and make sure I have reliable coverage of the couple, officiant, vows, readings, and important reactions. - Reception coverage: I prepare in advance for entrances, introductions, speeches, dinner, first dance, parent dances, cake cutting, dancing, and all of the spontaneous moments that happen throughout the evening. - Audio management: I pay particular attention to capturing clean, high-quality audio from the ceremony and speeches, because great sound is just as important as great visuals. - Continuous monitoring: Throughout the day, I monitor my cameras, audio, batteries, storage, and equipment so I can stay ahead of any technical issues rather than reacting to them. - Professional and unobtrusive approach: I work around the flow of the day without constantly interrupting you or your guests.
